- Not given to pregnant animals unless termination of pregnancy is intended
- Caution in animals with spastic respiratory disease
Drug interactions
- Its uterine effects may be aggravated with oxytocin
Human-safety warning
Human hazard: it is absorbed through the skin; pregnant women and asthmatics must avoid handling it, and any skin contact should be washed off immediately, as it may cause miscarriage or bronchospasm.
